I Chose the Wrong Profile

Nothing is lost if you kept the wrong profile active. Three ways to put it right, depending on where you are.

If you kept the wrong profile active, it can be put right. Which route you take depends on whether the plan change has taken effect yet.

First, nothing was deleted

Whichever profile you chose, every record, every question and every report on all your other profiles is still there and still readable. Choosing the wrong one pauses new work on a profile. It does not remove anything, and nothing is on a timer.

If the change has not taken effect yet

You can fix this yourself.

  1. Open Account & plan. Your plan shows the change you have queued.
  2. Choose Cancel downgrade to clear it.
  3. Start the change again and pick the profile you meant this time.

It is two steps rather than one because we ask you to clear the queued change before making a new one.

If the change has already taken effect

Upgrading to Family turns every profile back on at once, straight away, with nothing lost. That is the fastest fix, and the only instant one.

If neither of those works for you

Contact us and tell us the email on your account and the name of the profile you want active. We can move it for you.

This one is a manual change on our side rather than a button you can press, so it is not instant. If you are in the middle of something urgent, say so and we will treat it that way.

Why is there no switch button?

A one-person plan that could be pointed at anyone, any time, would be a family plan sold at a lower price, and keeping the choice fixed is part of what keeps the smaller plans small.

We know that is a thin answer if you clicked the wrong name in a hurry. That is why the routes above exist, and why nothing you did is permanent.
