Why We Introduced Paid Plans
We said Inciteful Med was free while we scaled, and that we would tell you before that changed. This is us telling you.

For as long as Inciteful Med has existed, it has been free, and we said here that it was free "while we scale and better understand our operating costs", and that if we ever charged we would tell you in advance. This is us telling you.
What changed
Every question you ask runs real research: reading the current medical literature, checking it against your records, and writing an answer where every claim is tied to a source you can open and read yourself. That costs us money per question, and it costs more for the work that runs quietly in the background, watching your connected records and the literature for things that matter to you.
We would rather charge for that openly than make it cheaper by making it worse, or by doing something with your health information that we told you we would never do. Your records are still never sold, never shared, and never used to train AI models. That does not change, and it is not what is being paid for here.
What we did for people who were already here
Every account that existed before this change got a free month of our Family plan, which is everything we offer, with no card required and nothing charged. That month ended on October 15, 2026. New accounts now start with a free trial of Family instead. See Your free trial of Family.
There is still a free plan
Starter costs nothing and always will. It covers 5 questions a week and 3 records held at a time, with the same research engine and the same citations as every paid plan. And whatever you have already done here stays readable whether you ever pay us or not. Nothing you have built gets taken away because you stopped paying.
