If you look after more than one person, our Family plan is the one built for you: it covers everyone, with monitoring on every profile.

It is also the most expensive thing we sell, and plenty of people caring for a parent and a child and themselves cannot spend that every month. So here is the honest version of what your options are, including the free one.

You have three options, and all three are supported

Stay on Starter and pay nothing. Everything you have already built stays readable, for every person, for as long as your account is open. You keep 5 questions a week and 3 records held at a time, on one active profile. The other profiles become read-only, which means you can still open them, read every record and report, and share anything you have. This is a real option, not a failure state. A lot of research is done once and referred back to for years.

Move to Personal. One person gets the full product: unlimited questions, unlimited records, and automatic record monitoring that watches their connected health systems and the new medical literature. Choose this if one person in your care needs active attention right now and the others are stable. Note that Personal covers one patient profile, the same as Starter. It removes the limits, not the profile cap.

Move to Family. Everyone gets that, at once, and any read-only profiles come back immediately.

How to think about it

The question worth asking is not "who matters most", it is "whose situation is changing right now". Monitoring earns its keep when new results, medications and visit notes are actually arriving. For someone whose care is stable, the research you have already done keeps its value without anything new coming in.

You can change plan whenever that answer changes, and moving up takes effect right away.
