How many you get
On the free Starter plan: 5 questions a week.
On Personal and Family: unlimited. New accounts start with a free trial of Family, so questions are unlimited while it lasts.

When the count resets
Your week is counted from the moment you created your account, so your allowance refills every 7 days at that same time, not on a fixed weekday. Account & plan shows the date it refills, and so does the message you see when you run out. Dates are shown in UTC, so in the Americas the refill can arrive the evening before the date shown.
If you change plan, your week starts fresh from the moment the change takes effect. Unused questions do not carry over.
When you run out
Nothing is lost and nothing is deleted. Every answer you have already received stays available. You can wait for the refill, or move to a plan without a weekly cap.
